Why does it matter?
If you believe and your Company believes that no water is acceptable inside the Building Envelope, you'll want to clarify which Test Standard will be used to define a failure when running
Field Testing For Water Penetration On Installed Windows, Curtain Walls, Storefronts, and Skylights.
ASTM Test Standards do not allow for any water to enter.
AAMA Test Standards allow for a small amount of water.
